Cravo & Santana – Advocacia (CS) is a public interest law firm located in Brasília/DF, specialized in working with demands from civil society organizations, with an emphasis on political advocacy, advocacy, and strategic litigation. The firm was established in 2021 to provide legal consulting services to civil society organizations that deal with human and fundamental rights demands, especially on a socio-environmental agenda that respects the cultural, environmental, and life diversity existing in Brazil.

Lawyer registered with the Brazilian Bar Association under number 66511/Federal District. She holds a PhD in Constitutional Law from the University of Brasília and a Master’s degree in State Theory and Constitutional Law from PUC-Rio. She is a Guest Researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lisbon. Having earned her law degree from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), she was a PIBIC scholarship researcher and Coordinator of the Hugo Simas Academic Center (CAHS). She is the author of opinions and academic articles published in national and international journals. She has also authored four books on various areas of law and dozens of articles in major scientific journals in the country. She is a member of the National Justice Council’s Working Group “Indigenous Rights: Access to Justice and Procedural Singularities” and the Committee for the Promotion of Indigenous Participation in the Electoral Process of the Superior Electoral Court. She served as a guest expert in the Situation Room established by the Supreme Federal Court in ADPF 709. She was the Chief of Staff of the Prosecutor’s Office of the State Court of Auditors of Paraná from 2005 to 2007. She has taught undergraduate law courses at the Faculty of Ilhéus-BA and Unime/Anhanguera of Itabuna-BA, covering Constitutional Law, State Theory, and Human Rights from 2012 to 2014. She specializes in indigenous themes and environmental law.

Master in Constitutional Law from the University of Brasília, with a technical visit period at Flinders University. Graduated in Law from the Federal Fluminense University, with an academic mobility period at the University of Coimbra. Professor in the Specialization in Rights and Policies for Indigenous Peoples at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Lawyer in the Legal Department of the Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB) between 2020 and 2023. Public servant in the General Secretariat for Institutional Articulation of the Public Defender’s Office of the Union (DPU) between 2018 and 2020.
